Common causes and fixes—focused on getting you unblocked fast.

The block isn’t showing on the storefront

  • Confirm you added the ZenMerch app block to the correct product template in Theme Editor.
  • Confirm you clicked Save in Theme Editor after enabling the embed and adding the block.
  • Confirm the product is actually targeted by a template (Products assignment or Rules).

My changes don’t show on the storefront

  • You might have edited a different theme than the published theme.
  • You might have forgotten to click Save in Theme Editor.
  • In ZenMerch, use Refresh status to rescan after theme changes.

Preview is not updating

  • Confirm fields are correctly linked to layers (text → text layer, upload → image frame).
  • Refresh the product page and test again.
  • Check validation rules (required fields / limits) if input is being blocked.
