Theme integration (Online Store 2.0)

ZenMerch integrates using Shopify’s supported extension architecture: a theme app block for the personalizer UI and an app embed for global behavior (when needed). This avoids risky manual theme code edits.

Enable the app embed

1. In ZenMerch, go to Settings → Theme integration.
2. Click Enable ZenMerch embed to open Shopify Theme Editor.
3. In Theme Editor → App embeds, enable the ZenMerch embed, then Save.

Add the personalizer block

1. In ZenMerch, click Add personalizer block (opens Theme Editor on a product template).
2. Add the ZenMerch app block inside Product information.
3. Placement recommendation: put it above the buy buttons for best conversion and usability.
4. Click Save in Theme Editor.

Verify it’s working

1. Open any targeted product page.
2. Confirm the ZenMerch UI appears on the product page.
3. Interact with inputs and confirm the preview updates.

Diagnostics

If you make changes in Theme Editor, use Refresh status inside ZenMerch to rescan the embed/block status.
